Prostate enlargement is also known as benign prostatic hyperplasia, and older men are also much more at risk for prostate cancer however this disease in particular is much less common than BPH, and this is incredibly important to make note of, especially considering the very few people that actually know this.

Basically if you are under 50 years old and you especially have to worry about prostatitus, then you should know that this means that your prostate will most likely become red and inflamed, and that you may also have a burning feeling when you urinate, or for that matter you may just have to urinate more often, or even both.



You need to realize in this case that inflammation in the body, regardless of where it actually is, is usually a very obvious sign that there is something wrong and that your body is working to fight the germs that are evident or they are working to repair an injury. Some kinds of prostatitus are caused by germs while others are caused by bacteria.

You can ask your doctor about all of this and really you should anyway, so that you can be as informed and knowledgeable as possible and so that you can thus work to keep yourself as healthy as you possibly can. This means making sure that you eat a proper diet, get plenty of physical activity, and make it in frequently to get checked up by your doctor.
