the prostate although it may take up to a year for the desired

Prostate
Saw palmetto is regularly used as an herbal alternative. The
herb has been widely testing and the results are very
promising. It is said to cause the hormones in the prostate
such as testosterone allowing it to ease the symptoms the
patient has been experiencing. Saw palmetto has shown to work
just as well as some prescribed medication in treatment for the
enlarged prostate. The patient should notice a difference with
in the first three months; if not then finding another
treatment for an enlarged prostate would be the next step.
Surgery is an Option
Surgery has become less common; however it is the most
effective treatment long term for an enlarged prostate. There
are several types of surgeries all that require the patient to
be hospitalized and would require some time off to recuperate.

available options and you will then decide what the best
treatment is for you. Do not hesitate to have a prostate
